User Guide for Odoo POS Nexi Payment Acquirer

Odoo POS Nexi Payment Acquirer enables businesses to accept secure card payments directly in Odoo POS using the Nexi payment gateway.

The cashier selects Nexi at checkout, and a QR code appears on the POS screen for customers to scan and pay using their own mobile device.

Payment status is updated automatically at the POS, and all transactions are stored in the backend for easy tracking and reconciliation.

You have to install the above-mentioned modules to use Odoo POS Nexi Payment Acquirer.

1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive a link to download zip module submit.
2. Extract the files on your system once the download is complete. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘pos_nexi_payment_acquirer‘
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your folder Odoo Add-ons Path.
4. Now, open the Odoo Application and click on the Settings menu. Here, click Enable Developer Mode.
5. Then, open the Application menu and click ‘Update Module List.’
6. In the search bar, clear all filters and search for ‘pos_nexi_payment_acquirer‘
7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Activate‘ to install it.

1. After installing Odoo POS Nexi Payment Acquirer, open Payment Acquirer and open Nexi configuration.
Enter the Merchant ID and Authorization details provided by Nexi and save the settings.

2. Open a POS session and proceed to the checkout screen. Choose I’m connected of the available payment options.

3. After selecting Nexi, a unique QR code appears on the POS screen. Customers scan the QR code using their mobile device.

4. Customer is redirected to Nexi’s secure payment page and enters card details. Nexi processes payments securely on the pages it hosts.

5. POS updates the payment path after receiving the payment results. A confirmation pop-up appears before validating the order.

6. Completed Nexi payments cannot be removed from POS orders. If payment is still in progress, a warning message will appear.

7. After successful payment, the order can be validated and the receipt can be printed or previewed.

8. Your payment details are automatically saved for future reference.
