Magento 2 Recurring Plans For Discount The module helps store owners provide discounts through simple subscription plans.

Admin can create weekly, monthly or yearly discount plans for any product.

In addition, the admin activates Stripe and PayPal as payment options for customer package purchases..

Now, follow the steps below to install the Magento 2 Recurring Plans for Discounts extension –
Step 1:

First of all, Unzip the respective extension zip and then move the “application” folder (inside “src” folder) into the Magento (Adobe Commerce) root directory on the server.

Step 2:

After that, execute the ones mentioned below order in Magento 2 root directory through terminal.

composer require stripe/stripe-php

php bin/magento setup:upgrade

php bin/magento setup:di:compile

php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy

php bin/magento indexer:reindex

php bin/magento cache:flush

PayPal Credentials:

Get PayPal credentials by visiting the Webkul article: PayPal payment methods

Admin can enable PayPal by going to Store → Configuration → Sales → Payment Methods.

Then select Payment Method Checkout PayPal Express Webkul Recurring Discount and fill in all the required details.

Stripe Credentials:

Get Stripe credentials by visiting the Webkul article: Stripe payment methods

Admin can enable PayPal by going to Store → Configuration → Sales → Payment Methods.
Then select Webkul Recurring Discount Stripe Payment Method.

Fill in all the required details to complete the setup.

Admin will configure module settings. To do this, the admin will navigate Shop->Configuration->Webkul->Recurring Discount Settings.

General Settings –
Here, admin will be able to –

Enable Recurring Discount: Activate the functionality by selecting a Yes choice, choose NO to disabled its functionality

Email Reminder Settings-
This section allows admins to manage auto-renewal reminder email settings.

Update Reminder Email Template: In the Renewal Reminder Email Template section, admins can choose the email template used for renewal reminders.

Email Confirmation Settings –
This section allows admins to configure email templates for package purchase confirmations

Plan Purchase Confirmation Email Template: In the Package Purchase Confirmation Email Template section, the admin can choose the email template used to confirm package purchases.

Add New Package: Admin can add new packages by going to Recurring Packages for Discounts → Manage Recurring Discount Packages, then click Add New Package.

Fill in all the plan details accordingly-

Package Name: Admin can enter the package name.

Package Price: In this section, admins can set prices for certain packages.

Discount Type: Admin can choose the discount type — Percentage or Fixed.

Discount Amount: Admin can enter the discount amount for the package.

Cycle Type: Admin can select the package cycle as Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly.

Information: Admin can add a brief explanation regarding the plan.

Status: Admin can activate or deactivate packages as needed.

After filling all the details, admin needs to click on Save Package button to save the package.

Customer Subscriptions– Here, admin can manage all subscriptions and view complete details of each customer plan.

Customers receive discounts based on their subscription plan, and discounts are automatically applied to their cart when they add products.

Customers can subscribe to packages by clicking Subscribe button and navigate to Current Discount Packageswhere all the plans created by the admin are displayed.

In this section, customers can purchase packages.

Here, customers click on the subscribe button and choose a payment method

Now, click on the place order button

Here, customers click on the Subscribe button to purchase a plan

Customers can view all their active and inactive plans by going to Discount Plans → My Subscription Plan.
