Magento 2 Bing Shopping Documentation

Magento 2 Bing Shopping Feed helps you connect your Magento store to Bing Merchant Center without complexity.

This helps you send product info such as titles, prices, images, and stock to Bing Shopping in the right format.

You can connect your Magento category with the Bing product field and match the Bing format. Products can be exported one by one or all at the same time using bulk export features.

This module also updates your bing list automatically when a product changes or after the order is made.

Admin can set the schedule using Cron Jobs to keep product info synchronous. This saves time and ensuring your list on Bing is always the latest and accurate.

This installation is quite simple like the Magento 2 Standard extension.

#Download Module
First, enter the webkul store and go to my account> my product purchased. After verifying your purchase, download the zip file and extract its contents on your system.

#Upload folder
After extracting the zip module, go to the track src > appThen copy app Folder and paste to the Root Magento 2 directory on your server as shown below:

Language translation

To translate module language, navigate through App/code/webkul/bingoppingfeed and edit the en_us.csv file.

After that, replace the name CSV as “en_sa.csv” and translate all right side content after coma in Arabic. After editing CSV, save.

Now, upload to the path Application/code/webkul/bingshoppingfeed, Where the Magento 2 installation is on the server.

Steps to get client and confidential ID

• Enter the developer portal

Open your browser and open the official developer portal.microsoftonline.com. Enter with your credentials.

• Navigate to Application> Application Registration
• On the left side, go to “Application”.
• Then click “Application Registration”.
• See all applications in the directory
• Click “All Applications” To see a complete list of applications listed under your tenant.
• Select the Feed Bing Shopping application

From the list, click your application – In this case, select “Feed Bing Shopping”.Shown in the image below.

• Copy the application id (client)
• On the application over the application page, you will see Application id (client) displayed clearly.

Copy this value; You will use it in your integration settings, as illustrated in the image below.

• Produce new client secrets
• On the left side, go to “Certificate & Secret”.
• Under Client secret tab, click on “+ New Client’s Secret”.
• Enter the description (for example, “Magento Integration”) and select the expiration period.
• Click Add.

The confirmation popup will appear showing the credential application updated successfully, as shown in the image below.

How to add a callback transfer url

• Navigate to “authentication”
• On the left side menu of the application, click “Authentication”.
• In the Authentication section, scroll to Redirect uri field.
• Click “Add a platform” If there is no uri, or use “Add uri”.
• Click Keep to apply change.

To connect your application to Bing Ads (Microsoft Ads)You need Developer token. This token is needed for account authentication and verification during API communication.

Go to the Microsoft ad development portal. Make sure to enter with The same microsoft id It is used to manage your Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads) account.

After entering, you will land on “Developer Settings” page. You will find you Developer token listed below Authentication information part.

Along with the developer token, all other credentials such as client IDs, client secrets, and URI transfer are provided.
This is registered from the side of Microsoft (Bing) through their developer portal.

To get you ID Microsoft’s trader center shopFollow the steps below:

Step 1: navigate to the merchant center

Go to your Microsoft ad account and go to Trader center part.

Step 2: Select the existing shop
Under List of existing shopsFind and click on your store.
As shown in the image below.

Step 3: Find Shop ID in the URL
After clicking the name of the store, you will be directed to the store detail page.

That Shop ID will be seen on Browser url – Usually at the end of the link.

After a successful installation, the admin can configure the module by navigating through

Bing shopping feed> Configuration arrangement.

General Settings

1. MMC Shop ID: This is ID Microsoft’s trader center shopUsed to identify specific stores where your product feed will be sent.

2. Application id: This field stores application ID (client)

3. Client secret: This is a secret key produced during the application registration

4. Developer token: This token is obtained from the Microsoft ad developer portal.

Bing Shopping Mapping Attributes

This section allows the store admin to map the Magento product attributes with the required bing shopping attributes.

The correct mapping ensures that product data is accurately sent to the Bing Merchant Center.

Navigate to Bing Shopping Feed > Mapped Attributes.

The following attribute map:

• Offer ID: Select Magento attributes to function as unique product IDs. Usually designated as SKU.
• Title: Select the product name attribute to appear as the product title on Bing.
• Information: Set the product description attribute for detailed list content.
• Price: Regular product price map.
• Sales price: Optionally determine special prices (discounts).
• Effective Date of Selling Prices Start: Set the attribute for the start date of the selling price (for example, special_from_date).
• Selling Price of the Final Effective Date: Set the attribute for the final date of the selling price (for example, special_to_date).

After the attribute is mapped correctly, click “Save the mapping attribute” button to apply changes.

Note Mapping Bing Shopping Category To map the new category, click Map category

The button is displayed on the snapshot above.

This will open a section to link your store category with the Bing Bait category. Choose you Magento Store Category First, then select matching Bing Shopping Category

and sub-categories if needed. Finally, click Save the mapping data

How to export products to Bing Merchant accounts? Admin can export products to Bing Shopping Feed from the product list page by navigating toCatalog> Products

.

Here, the admin can only choose specific products to be exported instead of exporting the entire shop catalog. After selecting the desired product, below Action Dropdown, the admin will clickExport item on Feed Bing
