How to get a strip key and account ID: step by step guide

In this article, we will explore where to find a strip key and account ID, how to save your key safely, and a public trap that must be avoided during the settings.

To get your fire key, enter your stripe account or create one if you haven’t done it.

Visit the stripe dashboard and enter your login credentials.

Now, from the stripe dashboard, click the switch button for See test data.

Use the credential test if you test the module, or direct credentials if you prepare it for a direct website.

Then, set Sand box mode to Yes for testing mode or NO for production mode.

After the webhook is made, a successful message will appear on the ecommerce platform on the admin dashboard.

When the selected event takes place on the website, webhook captures it and collects data.

Admin can now check the data collected from the stripe dashboard, as shown in the image below.

Admin needs to enter a stripe account ID to link the store with the correct stripe account.

You can find an account id strip on Dashboard stripe under Settings> Account Details.
