Guide for Magento 2 Data Mask Data Vendor

Magento 2 Customer Data Vendor MODULE MODULE Helps the owner store customer data by limiting vendor access to sensitive customer details.

Vendors can still see orders details such as product information, quantity, price, and total, allowing them to process and meet orders efficiently.

However, customer information such as names, email addresses, telephone numbers, and billing/shipping addresses can be covered based on admin preferences.

When the customer’s address is masked, the vendor cannot make delivery, & the admin handles the delivery of shipping so that the data remains safe.

If the masking is deactivated, the vendor can access customer details and make shipments, but allows it to prevent data abuse while maintaining market operations smoothly.

Please note:-

To use this module, you must install the Multi Vendor Magento 2 module in the first place.

• Hide the customer’s personal details (name, email, telephone) from the vendor.
• Mask collection information or delivery address from the vendor.
• Allow the admin to activate or deactivate the Masking option as needed.
• Limit the vendor from making delivery when the customer’s address is hidden.
• Vendors can make delivery when the module is deactivated.
• Protect sensitive customer data and prevent abuse.
• Stop the vendor from accessing or abusing customer information.

First, you need to enter the webkul store, go to my account> my product section purchased, and verify.

And then finally, download and extract the contents of this zip folder on the system.

After the zip module extract, follow the SRC path> App & Copy the Application Folder to the Root Magento 2 Directory on the server, as shown below:

You need to run the following command:

php bin/magento setup:upgrade

php bin/magento setup:di:compile

php bin/magento setup:<strong>static</strong>-content:deploy

php bin/magento indexer:reindex

php bin/magento cache:flush

Language translation

To translate module language, navigate SRC/app/code/webkul/vendorcustomerdatamask/i18n and edit the en_us.csv file.

After that, replace the name CSV as “en_us.csv” & translate all right side content after coma in Arabic. After editing CSV, save.

Now, upload to the path SRC/app/code/webkul/vendorcustomerdatamask/i18n Where the Magento 2 installation is on the server.

This module supports the translation into Arabic; It supports the RTL and LTR language.

Users can edit CSV as shown below:

After the successful extension installation, the admin will navigate Save-> Configuration-> Webkul-> Vendor Customer Data Settings.

After installing the vendor customer data mask mask, the admin can configure the settings:

• Activated: Activate or deactivate the vendor customer data mask mask.
• Private Details Mask: Hide the customer’s personal details such as names, emails, telephone from vendors.
• Mask address details: Hide the customer’s shipping & billing address from the vendor.
• Save configuration: Click to apply and save changes.

When the customer’s address details are closed, only the admin can make the delivery by entering the necessary information.

Admin select Order ID for that shipping needs to be made and click on Send Button & need to fill in the required details, as shown below.

After being needed Shipping information Details are filled in by the admin, he can then send delivery.

Pop-ups will appear that confirm that shipping has been made, as shown in the snapshot below.

After the delivery is produced by the admin, it is immediately seen in the vendor panel, allowing the seller to track & manage further orders.

Vendors can access detailed customer order information, including products, quantities, and status, as shown in the snapshot below.

Vendors can see and produce customer order invoices while customers’ personal information remains hidden, as shown below.

The seller sees the delivery details made by the admin, while the system hides the customer’s information and address, as shown below.

The seller makes a refund for customer orders while the system hides details and personal addresses, ensuring privacy, as shown below.
