You can install and run it side by side with version 10.x and 11. The existing software functionality will not be affected. Make sure you don’t launch V11 and V11.1 simultaneously if you use the default database to store the project.

Calendar display

When you launch version 11.1, you see two new buttons on the toolbar, ‘Create a Calendar’ and ‘Create a Gantt Chart’. Click ‘Create a Calendar’. Choose to create a new table to get used to this feature. You can switch to using your own database table later. This software will create a new table for you and will even add some test data. You can now build a project and enjoy the full functioning calendar page.

If you choose to use your own table, be sure to continue to the ‘calendar settings’ screen (between pages and fields) and configure your calendar. The date and dest and resting field fields are optional.

Ps. The calendar display is based on the Fullcalendar open source project.

Gantt display

Gantt charts are similar in many ways with calendars. We also recommend creating a new table and used to this feature first. Gantt see special settings can be found on the ‘Gantt’ screen.

You can add, edit, delete tasks, add dependent tasks, use Drag-N-Drop to change the date of assignment/subtugas or update the progress of the task.

Ps. We use the Frape Gantt component as the core of this new feature.

SVN/GIT support

Sumber control system support provides two main scenarios.
1. Using SVN/GIT only for backup.
2. Single developers who work on the same project from different machines.

SVN, only backup

1. Install the client’s svn command software. In Windows we recommend Silksvn.

2. Make a new empty folder in your SVN repository. Look at any folder on your local computer.

3. In phprunner/asprunner.net continue to Project -> Setting the control version and select ‘Export Directory’, the same where you checkout. Other settings will be filled in automatically.

4. ‘Commit after every project savings’ – This is up to you to decide.

5. ‘Update on each project opening’ – If you use SVN only for reserves then turn off this option.

After you take these steps, you will see the new ‘Save and Commit’ button at the bottom of the software. Use to store your project and make changes to the repository.

6. To restore the project from a reserve, continue to the screen starting from the software, the ‘import tab’. Click Browse and point the software to the project.json file in the checkout folder.

SVN, works from a different computer

1. On the first computer repeat all steps for ‘reserve only’. Activate the ‘update option at each project opening’. Now, to open this project, you need to use the ‘Open From Version Control’ tab on the start screen.

2. On the second computer checkout the project from SVN. On the start screen, continue to the ‘Open the Control Tab’, click Browse and point to the folder where you checkout. You will see a dialogue with SVN settings, just leave everything and click ‘OK’.

Notes: It is important not to use this feature for simultaneous development by many developers. Each committee will override the changes made on other computers.

Git

The ideology is the same but there are some additional commands that you need to run manually.

1. Create a new repository at github.com, for example jondoe/car

2. Make a directory on your computer, open the terminal and change it to the directory.

3. Run this command, change Jondoe/car with the real repository name:

git init
git remote add origin 
git branch -M main

4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to access your github repository on the second computer.

5. During the first and committed Save, you may experience this error:

Author identity unknown
*** Please tell me who you are.

If this happens, run the following command in the terminal line/command and and try to save and commit again.

git config --global user.email "you@example.com"
git config --global user.name "Your Name"

6. Now you can do the same thing, in phprunner/asprunner.net proceed to the ‘Open Control Tab’, click Browse and navigate to the folder where you checkout.

Search for Wizard Improvement

The new feature here is ‘Edit Selected’ which allows you to edit the selected entry in the lookup wizard. Can be useful when you see typical errors in the lookup wizard and want to fix it without leaving the page.
